Our Response to the Fox Valley Tornado

On July 27, 2026, an EF-3 tornado touched down around 1 p.m. and stayed on the ground for more than 20 minutes, cutting a roughly 12-mile path through Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah, according to the National Weather Service. It was one of only three EF-3 tornadoes recorded in Wisconsin in 2026.

Even though 715 Excavating & Demolition is based in Eau Claire, we made the trip to the Fox Valley to help. “We had a tornado devastate a decent-sized area within three hours of our hometown, and we knew we needed to get over there,” said owner Dominic Berlin. Our team spent time on the ground in the Menasha area handing out water, snacks, and tarps to residents whose utilities were shut off — and we’re continuing to offer our excavation and demolition services to homeowners and businesses working through the cleanup.

If your property was affected by a storm or tornado anywhere in Wisconsin, reach out — we can travel to help with debris removal, demolition, and excavation, even outside our normal service area.
